May the force be with Superman?
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder tweeted a photo Wednesday that might just melt the Internet.
The photo shows Henry Cavill, who plays the Man of Steel in Snyder’s film, dressed as a Jedi and holding a lightsaber. Intriguingly, Superman’s costume can be seen peeking out underneath his cloak.
“#SuperJedi,” the director captioned the photo. The tweet has received close to 2,000 retweets to date.
While “Batman V. Superman” doesn’t hit theaters until May 2016, the mysterious photo could be linked to Warner Bros. Comic-Con panel, which takes place Saturday. But since the highly anticipated superhero flick isn't included in the studio's presentation, it's still unclear what the image means.
In any case, this isn’t the first time Snyder has ignited excitement with his tweets. He also shared the first photo of Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader on Twitter in May.
