Some of the biggest news out of Comic-Con right now is the release of the Mad Max: Fury Road trailer, starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, so we'll just get that out of the way first, shall we?

We'll wait.

Cool, right? Director George Miller called the film "basically a Western on wheels" during a press conference, EW reports. And the film's got an increasingly rare level of reality to it: "We decided to literally do every car that’s smashed is smashed, every stunt is a real human being, even the actors do a lot of their own stunts, and so on," Miller said.

Fandango was on hand to survey 1,000 fans at Comic-Con in San Diego, and discovered that the most hotly anticipated film is the still-just-over-a-year-away Avengers: Age of Ultron. After that, fans were salivating for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and then Mad Max.
