Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were both spotted kissing other people over the weekend, it is claimed.
Nina and Ian were both in San Diego, California, over the weekend to attend Comic-Con for their show The Vampire Diaries. Despite things being “awkward” for the former couple during the cast signing event, they are trying to remain professional, a source told HollywoodLife.
“They are both completely aware of each other’s schedule this whole weekend, especially since they have to be seen together at places,” a source explained. “Every move, panel and party is known because their publicists have both of them on a tight schedule.
“They are in no way trying to one up each other with hook ups and dating people. They are being professional when together and are OK that they are both moving on.”
Ian, who has been romantically linked to Twilight actress Nikki Reed for weeks, was spotted kissing his rumoured girlfriend during a party on Saturday, it is claimed.
"They were so together," an insider told E! News. They "were hot and heavy," another source told the outlet, noting "they weren't hiding their PDA at all".
Meanwhile, Nina was apparently seen dancing with and kissing Derek Theler.
“The kiss from the Baby Daddy guy was in the moment out of nowhere liquor-enabled kiss,” a source told HollywoodLife. “No tongue and no major passion.
“They were having fun in the moment, but it didn’t really continue for the whole night.”
Despite both Ian and Nina seeming to have moved on, the former couple was separated by fellow star Paul Wesley during the Comic-Con signing and as soon as the event ended Nina “was whisked away solo”.
