Disney, Alfred Angelo debut 'Frozen' wedding gown - Boston Herald

Disney and bridal maker Alfred Angelo have made aspiring princesses-to-be's dreams come true on their wedding days once again with Wednesday's unveiling of the latest edition of the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection.

The upcoming collection will continue Disney Consumer Products' tradition of creating gowns that draw inspiration from classic characters like Snow White and "Aladdin's" princess Jasmine, but it is also adding a gown based on a new fan favorite to the mix: "Frozen" big sister Elsa. The gowns will also focus on the recent bridal trend of pops of color going down the aisle, offering each gown in the usual ivory color as well as an option to purchase it in a shade that corresponds with the specific heroine's trademark hue (think red for Snow, purple for Jasmine and, of course, blue for Elsa).

"Along with the silhouettes and embellishments of each gown, color gives us another way to bring the magic of Disney's imagined storytelling to life and allow brides to express their individuality on their special day," said Michele Piccione, chief creative officer and family member at Alfred Angelo.

The 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection by Alfred Angelo will be available in January at Alfred Angelo stores in the U.S. and specialty retailers worldwide.
