'The Bachelorette' After The Final Rose: Was Nick A Jerk, Or Was Andi? Andi ... - Starpulse.com

Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray on The Bachelorette

Like any season of "The Bachelorette," we're not over until all three hours of finale have been painfully worked through.

And hour three begins with a broken, sluggish, post-breakup Nick. It's a sad time to be a (former) reality show contestant, and "The Bachelorette" conveys Nick's sadness with roughly a jillion shots of Nick, looking forlornly across various views of scenic somethings.

Although, learning of Nick's post-dump backstory is pretty neat. Did you know he was at "The Men Tell All?" And yet, because of Andi's powerful shunning techniques, he was not able to Tell All? For once, "The Bachelorette" has a legitimate plot twist on its hands.

Also, this explains the mystery letter cliffhanger from last week, that no one bothered to explain until we were more than two hours into the finale. For a while, it kinda seemed like ABC had just forgotten about that little tease.

Nick appears; he thinks that confronting a now-engaged Andi on national television might win her heart (note: this has never, and will never, work); Chris Harrison gets Nick to rehash his assortment of jilted feelings. Really, though, we know all this. That was kind of the point of the last two hours. Let's get to some all-screaming breakup drama, okay?

Andi comes out and Nick can barely eke out a stutter. All he really does is re-re-explain those same feelings, and all she really does is sit there in silence and try not to make eye contact. There are no bitter accusations. No raised voices. No drama.

So Harrison does what all great reality TV showmen do, and begins stirring the pot. In almost no time, he's gotten Andi to admit that she never really loved Nick, at all. Even if she was blatantly alluding to the fact that she loved Nick in the past couple episodes.

Like the deadly Bengal Tiger, Harrison retreats into the background of the conversation, having secured his drama-kill.

The broken chunks of Nick's heart have just been ground into powder; now, he can ask the tough questions. Like, why did Andi treat him like a fiance if she never loved him in the first place? Also, why did she have sex with him if she already knew Josh was the one?

After the audible "ooooooh" that erupted simultaneously from "The Bachelorette's" entire global audience, Andi responds. First, with anger, and second with that "I have so much respect for you and this is why I must crush you, emotionally" card she's played for basically every breakup before this one.

Sorry, Andi. All the righteous-sounding fury in the world doesn't mean you were any less of a total schmuck here. You dragged both Nick and Josh into the Official Bachelorette Sex Parlor; if you didn't want it to be on the public record, you shouldn't have done so on national television.

Also, wasn't it the fantasy suite that ruined things between Andi and Juan Pablo? You'd think there's a lesson to be learned there.

Single sensation: A breakup with Jay Z could push Beyoncé's career to even ... - New York Daily News

Don’t think Beyoncé can get any bigger? Just wait until she’s single.

So don’t sweat the reports that Jay Z and Queen Bey’s six-year marriage is over, because the “Single Ladies” singer will only get more powerful when she adds “single mother” to her glittering résumé.

“She is going to be the most powerful woman in the world, hanging out with Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey and Blue Ivy and talking about being a single mom,” says one crisis coach who has helped other celebs move to Splitsville. “The goddess suddenly becomes even more relatable to women everywhere.”

.Kevin Mazur A breakup with Jay Z could enhance Beyoncé's career, making her not just cool but a relatable single mom.

True, the couple can say goodbye to their carefully crafted image as the first family of hip hop — the one that’s turning the “On the Run” tour into a $100 million juggernaut. But Jay Z and Beyoncé’s other business ventures — his 40/40 clubs and sports agency, her Pepsi and L’Oreal deals — will thrive because the two never rode each other’s coattails.

“Jay’s deals were Jay’s deals, and Beyoncé’s deals were Beyoncé’s deals, and there was very little overlap besides this tour,” says Ryan Schinman, CEO of Platinum Rye Entertainment.

.Kevin Mazur Jay and Bey on July 11 at MetLife Stadium, a stop on their On the Run tour.

Mr. and Mrs. Carter enjoyed a meteoric rise together over the last 12 years. They’re the king and queen of cool, living in Tribeca, hanging out with the Obamas, sitting courtside at Nets games and sunning in Saint-Tropez.

But Bey would benefit more from a split — especially if Hova’s infidelity is the reason.

“Her brand is all about being fierce and being a strong woman and not needing a man to make her happy,” says the crisis coach. “But if more cheating rumors come out, and she looks like she is standing by her man, that might hurt her more, professionally, than leaving him.”

So far, the Carters are following the public breakup playbook to the letter, continuing to perform sold-out shows on their world tour and carefully curating Beyoncé’s Instagram account to show a picture-perfect family.

If more cheating rumors come out, and she looks like she is standing by her man, that might hurt her more, professionally, than leaving him.

It’s a bit like how “Newlyweds” spouses Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey choreographed their Thanksgiving 2005 breakup.

“Jess and Nick stopped being a real couple months before they announced the split,” dishes a top celeb and crisis expert familiar with their separation.

WIN MCNAMEE / POOL/EPA Hip hop's first family: Jay Z and Beyoncé attend President Obama's inauguration in 2013.

The problem wasn’t the divorce but the divorcées: “Unlike Bey and Jay, neither had much talent. Their talent was being an adorable couple,” says the expert. “Once that ended, so did they. Their whole brand was based on them as newlyweds!”

The Carters, on the other hand, were famous individually before getting together. And as long as they keep the breakup positive, “nobody is not going to use Jay Z or Beyoncé for endorsements,” Schinman adds.

Beyoncé posted this pic of the couple with daughter Blue Ivy on July 21.beyonce via Instagram Beyoncé posted this pic of the couple with daughter Blue Ivy on July 21.

They’re already ridiculously rich, so neither one has any reason to profit from their split with a paid sit-down interview or a tell-all book. But Beyoncé will still feed her fans through a gauzy Instagram account featuring her holding hands with Blue Ivy, reading an inspirational book or smiling with her sister, Solange, who broke the couple’s carefully crafted image with her elevator beatdown of Jay Z in May.

“Beyoncé uses social media as a way to really own her brand, and she should keep the breakup off there,” said social-media guru Mark Zablow, CEO of Cogent Entertainment Marketing. “I tell my clients all the time that you want to have a very clean brand image. You can take down a tweet or take down an Instagram, but everyone screengrabs everything immediately, so a deleted post can still live on forever.”

And Jay, for his part, can cleverly profit off of this breakup by teasing the reasons in song lyrics.

“Jay Z is never going to talk about this,” says Zablow. “He’s going to make a couple of great records about this, sell a couple million copies, do another world tour, and while everyone is guessing what his lyrics mean, he just put another $100 million in his pocket and made the folks at Live Nation a little richer, too.”

(Reuters) - Paramount Pictures film studio apologized on Wednesday for a poster for its upcoming film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", showing the four characters jumping down from an exploding skyscraper underscored with a Sept. 11 release date.

The poster went out in a tweet posted by the Australian Paramount Pictures Twitter account and also appeared on its official Facebook page, which has more than six million fans.

Both posts received a barrage of criticism and were deleted, though some screenshots were still being shared on social media.

"We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia," Paramount Pictures Australia said in an emailed statement to Reuters.

"Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offence and have taken immediate action to discontinue its use."

The live-action reboot, starring Megan Fox and Johnny Knoxville and produced by "Transformers" director Michael Bay is due for release on Aug. 8 in the United States.

In Australia it will be released on Sept. 11, the thirteenth anniversary of the al Qaeda militant attacks on U.S. cities and the destruction of the World Trade Center twin towers in New York.

"Consciously Uncoupled" Paltrow, Martin, Reunite At The Screening Of Simon ... - Contactmusic.com

Conscious uncoupling or not, there may still be hope for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin – in the friendship department, at least. Multiple sources, including Us Weekly, report that the pair looked completely at ease with one another, when they attended the premiere of Hector and the Search of Happiness on Monday, July 28, in East Hampton.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Post-separation, Patrow and Martin are keeping things civil and even friendly.

The former couple reportedly stuck together throughout the event and the afterparty.

According to the “observer,” quoted by Us Weekly (how creepy is that?) Paltrow entered the movie theater shortly after Martin and the two did not pose for any photos together. Still, Paltrow "was all smiles and joyful.” She introduced Hector star Simon Pegg as “my very dear friend and my daughter’s godfather.”

With Martin also seated in the crowd, Paltrow went on to say the family was "very proud" of Pegg. "He's the biggest movie star in our family," she concluded.

At the cocktail party later in the evening, Us Weelky’s “observer” apparently kept a close eye on the proceedings and later reported “Paltrow mostly talked to party goers and was completely engrossed in conversation.”

Meanwhile, Martin hung out on the sidelines alongside Paltrow’s mother, Blithe Danner. In conclusion, apparently the split was just as amicable as the two made it out to be back in March.

Bryan Singer's Accuser Michael Egan Loses Attorney After Backing Out of ... - AceShowbiz

July 30, 2014 04:52:27 GMT

Egan, who accused the 'X-Men' director of sexual abuse when he was 15, reportedly agreed to settle the case in June but has now changed his mind and his attorney Jeff Herman drops him as a client.

A man named Michael Egan, who sued Bryan Singer for sex abuse, is losing his lawyers. Florida attorney Jeff Herman said in an emailed statement on Tuesday, July 29, "We are in the process of withdrawing from representing Mr. Egan in all his cases and have no further comment concerning his matters at this time."

The attorney withdrawal comes after it was revealed that Egan had agreed to settle the case with Singer. He was reportedly offered $100,000 to drop the case, while he could get millions if he had a valid sexual molestation case.

But now Egan has reportedly changed his mind, saying, "This exact kind of take-it-and-shut-up deal is why I decided to stand up in the first place." He lost his lawyers in the process as Herman wanted to settle the case.

"This was a last-ditch attempt to save face from what was nothing more than an unsubstantiated, unsuccessful shakedown of Bryan Singer based on false allegations," said the 44-year-old director's lawyer Martin Singer, who is not related to the filmmaker, of the settlement.

Egan also sued three other Hollywood figures, Garth Ancier, David Neuman and Gary Goddard, for similar conducts. The former aspiring model has withdrawn the lawsuit against Goddard and Ancier. The case against Neuman was withdrawn in early June, but it was re-filed two days later.

Singer was also named in a sex abuse lawsuit by an anonymous British actor along with Goddard, but the "" director has been dismissed from the case earlier this month.

Flight Attendant Warns Travelers To Flush Their Drugs Before Landing - Huffington Post

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — An Australian airline apologized on Wednesday for a warning a flight attendant gave passengers who might have been flying high that there were drug-sniffer dogs awaiting them at Sydney airport.

Many of the 210 passengers aboard the Jetstar flight from Gold Coast city on Sunday night had attended the Splendour in the Grass weekend music festival at Byron Bay and were returning home.

"We have been told there are sniffer dogs and quarantine officers waiting in the domestic terminal," Sydney's The Daily Telegraph newspaper on Wednesday quoted the attendant as telling passengers via the Airbus A320's public address system.

"If you need to dispose of anything you shouldn't have, we suggest you flush it now," he added.

The newspaper said the warning prompted passengers to rush for the toilets.

Jetstar spokesman Stephen Moynihan confirmed the newspaper report was accurate. He said the public response to the announcement had been "mixed."

The airline said it routinely makes quarantine announcements on such flights that cross state borders.

"The crew member's words were poorly chosen and are plainly at odds with the professional standards we'd expect from our team," Jetstar said in a statement. "We apologize to customers offended by the comments."

Jetstar said it was "addressing the matter with the cabin crew member involved," but did not detail any potential disciplinary action.

One passenger told the newspaper several passengers suddenly made for the toilets with "things clenched in their hands."

"Why would you tip people off about this?" the passenger, who was not named, asked." If they have got something illegal, let them get caught."

But the response on Jetstar's Facebook page was largely positive.

"What a good Samaritan, Jetstar Australia this guy deserves a promotion," Rohit Dwivedi posted.

"Of course you should warn your passengers to help avoid them being humiliated, locked in a cage or fined," Jebediah Cole posted.

Australian Federal Police declined on Wednesday to comment.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is hanging up his "Dancing with the Stars" dancing shoes.

During an appearance Tuesday on "The View," the professional dancer said he'll no longer perform on the ABC competition series.

"I'm done dancing," he said on the talk show, according to Us Weekly. "I feel like it's time."

"When I came back to the show, it was not the same -- I was different, probably," he explained of his previous departure last year. "When I came back, I saw this amazing talent...I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better. I was taking up a huge spot."

Chmerkovskiy won the season 18 mirrorball trophy with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis back in May. At that time, he was already saying he wouldn't return to the "DWTS" dance floor.

"I don't think so," he told "Entertainment Tonight" when asked if he would be returning next season. "This is exhausting. It has nothing to do with money. The first thing that I did after hugging her [Meryl] ... was come up to Derek [Hough] and I was like, 'Dude, I don't how you do it.' He [won the mirrorball trophy] it five times. I have no idea."

Whether or not Chmerkovskiy will return to "DWTS" as a judge (he did only say he's done dancing on the show) remains to be seen.

Ariana Grande Reveals She Falls 'Out of Touch' With Her Father - AceShowbiz

July 30, 2014 02:24:51 GMT

The 21-year-old songstress reveals the hardest thing she's ever had to deal with is 'falling out of touch with my dad.'

opens up about her relationship with her father in an interview with for its September issue. She also reveals how she overcomes her insecurities and how to deal with haters.

When asked about the hardest thing she's ever had to deal with, Ariana replies, "Falling out of touch with my dad. It's private, but it happened last year. It took me so long to be okay with it. The thing that got me there was embracing the fact that that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him. So much of me comes from my father, and for so long, I didn't like that about myself. I had to accept that it's okay not to get along with somebody and still love them."

The former "" star tells the magazine about how she can overcome her insecurities, "Everybody has certain things that make them feel insecure. Even when you overcome a huge battle in your life and you make a ton of progress as a person, there are still things that will upset you and break your heart. But I feel like I'm at a point in my life where love is the most important thing, and I won't let anything come before it."

As a successful singer, Ariana still learns how to deal with haters. She claims, "It's tough to spend some of the most important years of your life in front of so many strangers who want to pick you apart. Insecurity has been the hardest thing I've had to overcome. I think everyone my age struggles with that because everyone strives for approval and wants to feel loved."

Talking about the biggest lesson she has learned in the past few years, the "Problem" singer says, "Being okay with not having the answers to everything. I feel like for the first time in my life, I'm really okay. I used to freak out about everything all the time. I used to be like, 'Oh my God, somebody said this!' Everything used to be such a big deal! But now, I feel I can handle everything that comes my way with a calm energy."

New Jersey native Ian Ziering again stars as Fin Shepard, carrying a 45-pound chain saw to take on the sharks falling out of the skies from a freak weather system over New York City.

SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE

9 tonight, Syfy

New Jersey native Ian Ziering again stars as Fin Shepard, carrying a 45-pound chain saw to take on the sharks falling out of the skies from a freak weather system over New York City.

What's that up in the sky? Is it a bird? A plane? Oh, no. It's a killer shark that's dying to get its jaws on Tara Reid!

Again.

New Jersey native Ian Ziering again stars as Fin Shepard, carrying a 45-pound chain saw to take on the sharks falling out of the skies from a freak weather system over New York City.

Yes, the rather redundantly titled "Sharknado 2: The Second One" — with Wyckoff's Reid and fellow New Jersey native Ian Ziering reprising their lead roles — is about to touch down once more, as Syfy attempts to, in Ziering's words, catch "lightning in a bottle" for the second summer in a row.

Last July, "Sharknado" was a freakish success, generating a whopping 5,000 tweets per minute the night it debuted and growing its viewership with each airing.

So what if many of those were making snarky comments as they watched the movie about a tornado that lifts sharks out of the ocean and deposits them in Los Angeles? A "twister with teeth," as one character calls it in the second movie. "Sharknado" was an instant pop-culture hit.

"We had no clue signing on to the film that this would be this phenomenon," Reid said during a teleconference that she, Ziering and director Anthony C. Ferrante did recently with television reporters. "It was a great and kind of shocking experience."

Syfy almost immediately ordered a sequel (and recently even announced there will be a third film).

Tonight, "Sharknado 2" arrives. It boasts celebrity cameos and even more sharks (the CGI variety), Ferrante says, with more than 700 visual effects shots. It will also be on the big screen for one night, on Aug. 21.

Same screenwriter, more fun

"It's bigger and better than the first," says screenwriter Thunder Levin, who wrote the original movie as well. "I think the fans who liked the first one are gonna love this even more, and I think the people who enjoyed ripping the first one to shreds will undoubtedly have fun doing the same thing. But I think they're gonna find themselves caught up in it, and I think they're gonna be surprised by how much they enjoy it."

Having saved Los Angeles from complete destruction in "Sharknado," Ziering's Fin Shepard and Reid's April Wexler — ex-spouses who have rekindled their romance because of their shared trauma — wind up having to rescue New York City in the sequel. Although Levin, who was "born and bred" in New York City, says that New Jersey was "spared" (at least this time), not so lucky are the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, the New York subway system — and Citi Field.

"I am a diehard Yankees fan and unfortunately, we weren't able to get Yankee Stadium. I had visions of Derek Jeter playing a cameo in this and it was not to happen, but the Mets were just great," says Levin. "They went out of their way to make things work for us. We had a great day at Citi Field, even though it was perhaps the coldest I've ever been in my life."

On the late February day that they filmed at the Queens stadium — when the weather went from "bright sunshine" to snow to "torrential winds" back to sunshine — Levin says it was so cold that they had to set up heaters just off camera "to blow warm air on the actors' faces" so they could move their mouths to speak. "We were shooting a summer film in the midst of the worst winter that the East Coast has had in recent memory. That was one of our greatest challenges."

The 'Sharknado moment'

While shooting on the streets of New York City was expensive, it made "Sharknado 2" look "a lot bigger than the first one," says Levin. He wanted to give the film a distinct flavor and attitude, and so, besides the iconic landmarks, he made sure there were yellow cabs and hotdog carts and a community spirit that "you don't have in Los Angeles," Levin says. "I think that the biggest difference between the first and the second movie is that in L.A., it's sort of every man for himself, and that sort of comes across in the movie … whereas New York, when something goes wrong, people band together. 'When something bites us, we bite back' is a line in the film."

As he was writing "Sharknado 2," Levin says, the question everyone kept asking was what the "Sharknado" moment would be.

"In the first one, there's this moment at the end where [Fin] goes into the shark and cuts his way out [with a chain saw]. 'How are you gonna top that?' That's what everybody kept asking me. And my answer for a long time was, I don't know," Levin says. "I didn't want to just have him chain-saw his way out of a bigger shark, or chain-saw his way out of two sharks or a whale or whatever. I wanted to do something different but still provide sort of that 'oh, my God' moment."

Eventually, it came to him. Not that he'd spoil the fun by revealing what the new moment is. "I'm very excited for the public to see it," Levin says.

In "Sharknado 2," Fin does wield a 45-pound chain saw, but rather than swinging it through the air, Ziering said, "I'd steady it and let the sharks fly through it this time."

San Diego Comic-Con threatens Salt Lake convention with legal battle - Daily Digest

Organizers of the Salt Lake Comic-Con scheduled to take place Sept. 4-6 at the Salt Palace Convention Center may soon enter into a legal battle with San Diego Comic-Con, unless they change the name of their upcoming event. The popular San Diego convention has already threatened legal repercussions, due to concerns that the similar name may confuse people into thinking the two conventions are affiliated.

More than fifty American and international comic conventions include “Comic Con” in their name, so this potential case could have legal ramifications for a large number of popular events.

“Precedence for the mark ‘Comic Con’ was set when Denver Comic Con received a trademark for their convention [in November],” said Bryan Brandenburg, Salt Lake Comic Con’s co-founder and chief marketing officer, in a statement. “Nobody owns the words ‘Comic Con’… and the United States Patent and Trademark Office has already ruled on this.”

“If they win this against us, they have a precedence to do this to others. We’re in the process of aggregating the other comic-cons around the country.”

Amelia Rinehart, an intellectual-property law professor at the University of Utah, believes that San Diego Comic-Con may actually have a case.

“[San Diego] alleges that it owns the mark of Comic Con, and that is certainly close enough to the one that [Salt Lake] is using to charge them with trademark infringement,” said Rinehart. “To put this into perspective, Xerox and Kleenex are not considered generic terms, because those companies enforce their rights to avoid becoming generic for photocopying and tissues, respectively. As a mark owner, it is important to police use of the mark to avoid genericide, and that may be what [San Diego] is doing here. Damages will depend on the monetary harm to [San Diego] from [Salt Lake’s] use of the marks.”

Salt Lake Comic Con has until Aug. 6 to formally respond to the San Diego Comic-Con cease and desist letter. Brandenburg intends to respond with a formal letter which includes the support of other conventions next week.

Comic-Con's dark side: Harassment amid the fantasy - Deseret News

In this July 22, 2011 file photo, fans are seen outside the San Diego Convention Center during the second day of the Comic-Con International 2011 convention held in San Diego.

Denis Poroy, Associated Press

SAN DIEGO — Amid the costumes and fantasy of this weekend's Comic-Con convention, a group of young women drew widespread attention to a very real issue — allegations of sexual harassment at the annual pop-culture festival.

Geeks for CONsent, founded by three women from Philadelphia, gathered nearly 2,600 signatures on an online petition supporting a formal anti-harassment policy at Comic-Con.

Conventioneers told Geeks for CONsent they had been groped, followed and unwillingly photographed during the four-day confab.

Meanwhile, what Geeks for CONsent and others regarded as blatant objectification continued on the convention floor. Scantily clad women were still used as decoration for some presentations, and costumed women were described as "vaguely slutty" by panel moderator Craig Ferguson. When Dwayne Johnson made a surprise appearance to promote "Hercules," 10 women in belly-baring outfits stood silently in front of the stage for no apparent reason.

Groping, cat-calling and other forms of sexual harassment are a larger social issue, not just a Comic-Con problem. And many comics and movies still portray women as damsels in distress. But Geeks for CONsent says things are amplified at the festival, where fantasy plays such a large role.

"It's a separate, more specific issue within the convention space," said Rochelle Keyhan, 29, director of Geeks for CONsent. "It's very much connected (to the larger problem) and it's the same phenomena, but manifesting a little more sexually vulgar in the comic space."

"Comic-Con has an explicit Code of Conduct that addresses harassing and offensive behavior," said Comic-Con International in a statement on Sunday to The Associated Press. "This Code of Conduct is made available online as well as on page two of the Events Guide that is given to each attendee."

Earlier, Comic-Con spokesman David Glanzer told the Los Angeles Times that "anyone being made to feel uncomfortable at our show is obviously a concern for us." He said additional security was in place this year, including an increased presence by San Diego Police.

Keyhan's focus on Comic-Con began with a movement launched in her hometown called HollabackPhilly, to help end public harassment against women and members of the LGBT community. She and her colleagues developed a comic book on the subject in hopes of engaging middle- and high-school students, which is what brought them to Comic-Con.

Costuming, or cosplay, is a big part of the popular convention, with male and female fans dressing as their favorite characters, regardless of gender. A man might wear a Wonder Woman outfit, and a woman could dress as Wolverine. Keyhan and her colleagues — all in costume — carried signs and passed out temporary tattoos during the convention that read, "Cosplay does not equal consent."

In addition to the existing Comic-Con's Code of Conduct, Geeks for CONsent wants the 45-year-old convention to adopt a clearly stated policy and says staff members should to be trained to handle sexual harassment complaints.

"It makes it feel safer for the person being harassed to report it and also for bystanders who witness (inappropriate behavior)," Keyhan said.

Toni Darling, a 24-year-old model who was dressed as Wonder Woman on Saturday, said the issue goes way beyond Comic-Con.

"I don't think it has anything to do with cosplay or anything to do with costumes," she said. "People who are the kind of people who are going to take a photo of you when you're not looking from behind are going to do that regardless, whether you're in costume or not."

Still, she'd like to see an advisory in the Comic-Con program against surreptitious photography, and a clearer statement from Geeks for CONsent. She found some fans were afraid to take photos, even when she was posing at a booth on the showroom floor.

"The kind of behavior that needs to be modified," she said, "is somebody taking a photo of you bent over while you're signing a print."

One Direction's Liam Payne Full-Frontal Selfie: A Fake Out? - Access Hollywood

One Direction fans were sent into a frenzy after Liam Payne posted what appeared to be a full-frontal seflie – but did the 1D singer really show off a bit too much?

"Damn that was my last pair!" the 20-year-old pop star caption a shot of himself naked (with his crotch region pixelated) while on the back of a yacht.

The photo incited a small meltdown for some fans, as they questioned if he really posted the racy shot and then demanded to see an uncensored version of the photo.

But Payne was simply being a prankster.

PHOTOS: Stars In Their Underwear

"Oh I found them never mind aha," he caption a second uncensored version of the pic, showing himself in a pair of short black swim trunks, seven hours after the initial frenzy-inducing photo.

Despite not showing off his goods (which would probably get him banned on Instagram), 1D fans should delight in Liam's shirtless boat attire.

Mockingjay trailer: Next Hunger Games movie promoted at Comic-Con - San Jose Mercury News

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The trailer for the next film in the popular "Hunger Games" series made its premiere at Comic-Con.

Fans gathered Friday at the Capitol Gallery in downtown San Diego, where holographic versions of two characters from the film offered visitors a silent welcome before the minute-long teaser trailer was shown.

The trailer opens with a hovership landing and a meeting between leaders of the rebellion, where Phillip Seymour Hoffman and a gray-haired Julianne Moore discuss Katniss Everdeen's role. Meanwhile, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) declares the Mockingjay symbol illegal.

Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is shown entering the underground bunker where refugees of Panem are hiding, and she agrees to take up their cause.

Being the first to see the trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I" was only part of the Capitol Gallery experience, which occupied a portion of the Hard Rock Hotel. In an all-white setting inspired by President Snow's Capitol color scheme, visitors could enjoy treats from Peeta's bakery, witness colorful Capitol fashions, design souvenir T-shirts and have their photo taken with the holographic characters.

Even the trailer-viewing experience seemed designed by the Capitol: In an all-white room, fans were offered all-white candies and snacks before being shown into pod-like chairs, where they watched the trailer on personal Samsung tablets.
