Ancier sues Egan for accusing him of sexual abuse - Delhi Daily News

Garth Ancier, former network TV executive has sued a former male model who had leveled charges of sexual abuse against him.

The lawsuit comes just two days after the former aspiring actor, Michael Egan III, voluntarily dropped the charges against the executive.

Ancier has mentioned in his lawsuit that his reputation was tarnished by the sexual abuse charges leveled against him and other figures of the entertainment industry, including X-Men director Bryan Singer.

The lawsuit also has names of two of Egan's attorneys, Mark Gallagher, of Hawaii and Jeff Herman, of Florida.

Egan claimed that he was sexually molested on a trip to Hawaii in the year 1999 when his age was 17.

Ancier and Singer said they were not in Hawaii at the time Egan claims he was sexually abused.

Ancier's complaint mentions that he has already spent huge sum of money in defending himself against Egan's charges and is seeking damages.

Egan's lawyers did not give reasons behind the withdrawal of the sex abuse suit.
