Bill Murray gatecrashes stag do, gives groom advice - video - Digital Spy

Bill Murray made the night of a groom-to-be when he joined his stag do.

The actor was eating in the same restaurant as the bachelor party when they asked him to come over and join them. Although Murray declined their offer of a free drink, he did give a speech.

The 64-year-old said: "You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living? Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they're for the uncommitted."

He then followed it up by giving some advice on how you know your partner is the perfect person for you.

He said: "If you have someone who you think is the one, don't just sort of think in your ordinary mind, 'OK let's make a date, let's plan this and make a party and get married' - take that person and travel them around the world.

"Buy a plane ticket for the two of you to travel all around the world, and go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of. And if when you come back to JFK, when you land in JFK and you still love that person, get married at the airport."
