Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Daughter of host and comedienne Joan Rivers, Melissa, takes the time to address the public about the condition of her mother.
The elder Rivers who was recently rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during a routine throat surgery has reportedly been on life support, surrounding by family and friends, since she was rushed to the hospital.
Her 46-year-old daughter, Melissa Rivers, issued a statement, published in Huffington Post—
“On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received. At this time, she does remain on life support,” she says, confirming the condition of the 81-year-old.
Prior to her hospitalization, the host of E!’s Fashion Police segment has been busy promoting her new book, “Diary Of A Mad Diva.”
