James Corden to take over as host of CBS' 'The Late Late Show' - New York Daily News

Actor James Corden is the likely successor to take over for Craig Ferguson as host of “The Late Late Show” on CBS, a production source confirms.


The Wrap.com first reported the latest twist in the network’s changing late night landscape Tuesday.


Reps for Corden and CBS declined to comment.


Corden stars in Disney's “Into the Woods” and can currently be seen alongside Keira Knightley in “Begin Again.” He also starred in 2011’s “The Three Musketeers.”

Ferguson announced in April that he’s exiting the show at the end of the year, having kept the seat warm since succeeding Craig Kilborn in January 2005.
